First day of kindergarten

Megan has been waiting for this day forever. She has been so excited to go to kindergarten. They have changed things up this year and she goes Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Fridays, full days. A couple of days before she got meet her teacher, Mrs. Foreman. I can't believe I have a kid old enough to go to school.

Megan can be picky, so she takes a cold lunch every day. This picture was taken mid-bite so she looks unhappy, but she's not.

My mother is the best! She came to watch the younger two while I went with Megan. She brought this banner and we put it up on the front window. Megan thought it was so awesome.

Fun time with markers

I was getting ready for the day and it seemed a little quiet. I stuck my head around the corner and this is what I found. Gotta love her!

That face cracks me up. She knows she's in trouble even though I am taking her picture.

She even tried to use the marker for eye shadow. Thank goodness they were washable markers. It came right off.

Happy Birthday Megan!

Megan's birthday was August 5. I know, I'm a little late posting this. This year Megan had a party with her friends and she got to pick the theme. You would think that because she is girl she would choose princesses or something along those lines. Nope, she chose tractors. She is such a funny girl. It worked out great anyway because of all the kids that were here, there was only 1 girl. She seems to have more boy friends than girl friends.

This is my attempt at a tractor cake. I think it turned out pretty good. Megan love it.

Brian took the kids on a number of tractor rides. I think they really enjoyed it. He told me later that on every ride at least on person either lost their cowboy hat or a flip flop.

We hid a number of farm animals in a pile of straw and the kids had to find them.

Megan loves pinatas so we had to get one for the party.

And of course, cake and ice cream. Thanks to all of our friends for coming. It was a great party.

Swimming Lessons #2

Round 2 of swimming lessons was at Lakeview Pool. This is where she took lessons last year and she enjoyed it. She did such a good job this time and even passed her level. She will be ready for Level 1 next summer. Good job Megan!

Megan's first camping trip

Brian and I haven't gone camping since we before we had Megan, so the girls haven't been able to experience it until Megan went with Gramma Jello and Granpa Randy. She was so excited to go and would ask about it every day. She had so much fun and wants to go again soon. Thank you so much Mom and Dad for taking her.

This video cracks me up. If you watch her closely, about every 3 turns she hits her hat.
